And if you could have one wish, it would be not to get the wish at all. Of course you can’t have just one wish and I don’t believe you can have one wish, you’d create an anti-fairy-tale. It’s almost worse than the reality that I don’t have things, like having a home in Wales is much more challenging than trying to live in an apartment in London. “What do you want more than anything?” I’ve even been asked it in film school…It was as if there was a law of physics that said, you don’t get what you want, you aways get what you want more than you want it. You get asked that question a lot, “What’s the one thing you want that you don’t have?” I’ve been asked it since I was 10 years old and asked it every time I rode the bicycle in the suburbs of America.
